rishum

Until recently they were called in Hebrew ‘MIDGAMIM’ (samples). A registered design is a proprietary right in which protection is granted for the design of a new or original industrial product.

The right to register designs is intended to give the registered design owner exclusivity over the use of the design. There are many benefits to submitting a design as part of a company's intellectual property strategy. The form of protection is different from a patent and has advantages and disadvantages which are considered together with the customer. This protection is important for any industry that manufactures products in which design plays an important role in the eyes of buyers.
